3) Adding events to the Discover Shropshire Website
The new Discover Shropshire website has now been launched. The site is the essential guide to the county's cultural, sporting and countryside activities; Leisure, Literature, Arts, History, Nature, Parks and Countryside.
Whatever your scene is, find out how you can get active.
To add an event to the What's On Section, please email details to: arts.service@shropshire.gov.uk including the following information:
- Event Name
- Date, including start and end
- Event details
- Venue, address (also include if in northern, central or southern area)
- Contact details
- Ticket price if applicable
- Web address if available
Please Note: If you are from an arts organisation / venue which organises regular arts activity, you can now upload your own events onto the Discover Shropshire Website. For more details and instructions on how to do this, please contact Alexa Pugh, email: alexa.pugh@shropshire.gov.uk.

6) Translation and Interpretation Services
Shropshire Council is working in partnership with The Big Word Group to meet the authorities translation and interpretation needs.
Services Available are:
Document Translation - Charged by the word with no minimum spend. Documents can be submitted by fax, email, post or online.
Telephone Interpreting - Available 24/7, connection under 60 secconds, access to over 250 languages.
Face to Face - Access to over 200 languages.
