Audiences Shropshire

Audience Development Network, Shropshire
Shropshire Council and Audiences Central have worked in partnership to establish a Shropshire Audience Development Network.
The network is made up of representatives from Audiences Central, arts and cultural organisations who have expressed the need and wish for locality based networking and opportunities that support the development of audiences for their activities.
The network will be run by Audiences Central until March 2012, after this time the activities of the network will be continued by members and Shropshire Council's Community Arts and festivals Team.
This network is about developing and supporting a new approach that enables cultural organisations to develop and share best practice in audience development work. The audience development network is designed to promote joint working and advocate audience development at a strategic level through investing in an approach which seeks to promote partnership working and sustainability.
